why does everyone need a coach?
Most people believe the myth that somehow they can magically grow and change on their own, but it simply isn’t true. Real, sustainable change takes something outside of ourselves.
As a Christian, I believe that change is a result of being empowered by the Holy Spirit who is the BEST counselor and change agent of all. In addition to the Holy Spirit, God designed us not only for vertical relationship with Him but for horizontal relationships with each other.
Henry Cloud says it best, “The number one reason for lack of growth in people’s lives, that I have observed, is the absence of joining forces outside of themselves who push them to grow.” Coaching is powerful because change is smoother and easier when someone is partnering with you to help you in the journey.
When you have a system for growth, the Holy Spirit and a good coach—GROWTH HAPPENS.
