Parasite FAQ

Does everyone have parasites?

Yes, everyone does have parasites. If you have a pulse, you have parasites. The problem is not having parasites the problems set in when you have an overgrowth of parasites.

What kind of health issues are affected by parasites?

Almost all health issues are affected by or traced to parasite overgrowth. Common conditions caused by parasites include: skin rashes, nausea, food cravings, headaches, loss of appetite, teeth grinding, food allergies and sensitivities, fatigue, persistent digestive issues such as diarrhea, constipation, bloating and gas, recurring yeast infections, joint pain, anemia, unexplained weight gain or weight loss, eye site problems, crawling sensations, sleep problems such as insomnia, night sweats, anal itching, mood disorders such as anxiety, depression, and emotional instability. Almost all mental issues can be traced to some type of parasite overgrowth.

How are parasites contracted?

Parasites are in the environment. We get them from contaminated water in lakes and rivers or unfiltered, contaminated water in our homes. We contract parasites from vegetables, undercooked meat, fish, especially sushi, pork (pigs don’t have sweat glands and eat all kinds of toxic food so they are especially parasite ridden) and even our beloved pets.

Where do parasites live in the body?

Parasites can live in the gut, tissues, blood, lungs, heart, brain, feet, mouth, gums, skin—basically anywhere in the body.

How fast can I get rid of parasites?

Parasite cleansing takes time. If parasites and worms have been growing and multiplying in your body for decades, they can’t be eradicated overnight. In most countries people practice deworming at least twice a year. If we deworm our pets, it makes sense to deworm ourselves as well. The best way to deal with parasites if you’ve never cleansed is to cleanse for 3-4 months until there is no longer an overgrowth and then make it part of your lifestyle by cleansing every few months or each month during the full moon cycle. The most effective full moon cleansing is to start 3 days before the full moon until 3-4 days after for a total of 7-8 days.

When is the best time to parasite cleanse?

Around the full moon is the most effective time to parasite cleanse! I know! This sounded crazy and non-scientific to me when I first heard it too. But during full moon cycles extra serotonin is released in the body allowing parasites to move around more freely and basically come out of hiding. When parasites are out and about, it is easier for them to be eradicated.

Why is getting rid of heavy metals paramount for dealing with parasite overgrowth?

First of all excess heavy metals in our body are upstream from all kinds of problems and serious diseases that get worse as heavy metals bioaccumulate over time. Parasites literally feed on heavy metals as well as wrap themselves in heavy metals creating a biofilm to hide in. They also coat themselves in heavy metals to avoid detection within the body.

Do rats cause trash? No, trash causes the rats. It’s the same relationship between heavy metals and parasites. If you get rid of excess heavy metals, parasites leave or starve. When the metals are expelled, the parasites head for the exits. In contrast if you get rid of parasites but not the heavy metals the parasites will come right back. Dealing with the heavy metals also aids in protecting the entire body from the onsite of disease.

What’s the difference in parasites and worms?

Parasites are microscopic and can only be seen with a microscope. Microscopic parasites can be some of the most deadly living in places like the heart, brain and organs. Sixty percent of parasites are microbial. Worms are physical and can be seen with the eye. Both parasites and worms can be growing, multiplying for decades in the body without being detected.

What’s best way to cleanse for parasites and worms?

The best way to cleanse is using a combination of methods and products. Why? Because parasites adapt and become immune to things quickly. Switching anti-parasitical tinctures and herbals makes it easier to eliminate parasites. Rotating anti-parasitical drugs like Ivermectin, Nitazoxanide, Fenbendazole is also a great way to deal with parasites. The key is switch it up and pulse/cycle your products. Pulsing means taking something for a few days then taking a break and taking them again. Dr. Lee Merritt explains why pulsing and cycling is so important. “Parasites all have lifecycles that include egg sac production. Once infected, the mother parasite will lay between 20,000 – 200,000 eggs a day that are “encysted” in an egg sac in various parts of the body. As long as the mother is alive she produces a chemical that inhibits eggs from hatching. But once the mother is killed, eggs will hatch and reinfect the gut or liver or wherever they naturally live. To rid yourself of parasites you need to treat both the parent and the egg sacs. Many cases of chronic inflammatory disease are the result of the body trying and failing to destroy the egg sacs. Obviously, left untreated you will be hosting more and more egg sacs and the body will become more and more inflamed trying to rid itself of these foreign invaders. Effective treatment of both the adult parasites and egg sacs requires cycling or pulsing the treatment. “Parasite cleansing one time without dealing with the eggs and egg sacs can leave a person worse off than not cleansing at all.

It is important to space treatments no longer than 2-3 weeks between treatments. This is referred to as “cycle length”. If you do longer cycles, you may allow a larger number of eggs to hatch and grow. Then when you next do a treatment, you can have such a large parasite “die off” that you get a significant allergic reaction to the dead parasites—called a Herxheimer reaction. This reaction most commonly starts with histamine release giving you sneezing, watery eyes, stuffy nose but may progress to more serious symptoms. Again, this is generally avoided by using short cycles and making sure you are taking plenty of zeocharge.

What are common die off symptoms?

Parasite cleansing can be accompanied by die-off symptoms including headaches, nausea, flu-like symptoms, irritability, joint pain, tiredness, skin rashes etc. These occur because as parasites die off they leave behind toxins, bacteria, including their feces, or eggs and the body goes into defense mode to counter these die off symptoms. Severe die off symptoms are called herxing and can be dangerous. But don’t worry good binders can eliminate almost all die off symptoms.

How can I prevent or mitigate die off symptoms?

Take plenty of zeo-charge (see article on zeocharge). This is both a binder as well as mops up the toxins, die off particles, and dead debris. Zeocharge binds up the toxins an ushers them out of the body.

How do I prepare for a successful parasite cleanse?

• Open your drainage pathways. If your drainage pathways are “closed” it’s like trying to get garbage out of a closed door. We have drainage pathways in our organs, skin and lymphatic system. If your drainage pathways aren’t open you will experience die off symptoms and could even have a serious herx reaction.

• Drink plenty of filtered water and eating a clean diet.

• Calm the nervous system and deal with emotional issues. Make sure to rest and get good quality sleep. One of the biggest issues for parasite overgrowth is nervous system dysregulation. Trauma, anger, unforgiveness, hatred, stuckness are all emotions that allow parasites to thrive in the body.

• Sweat (saunas can be very helpful and have all kinds of other amazing benefits) and make sure you are having two easy-to-pass bowel movements a day. Constipation leads to die off symptoms because the parasites and toxins can not be eliminated properly. You don’t want to kill off more than you can eliminate.

• Massages

• Castor oil packs

• Red Light therapy

• Adequate levels of stomach acid.

What else could cause parasites to be hard to get rid of?

Other things that allow parasites to thrive could be mold exposure, vaccines, forever chemicals, breast implants, root canals, mercury in the mouth and emotional trauma.

Appendix

Zeocharge and Parasites (The following covers the effects that high-dosing zeocharge can have on parasites.) While taking a higher dose is less likely to result in redistribution of toxins and detox stress on the body, it is more likely to result in parasites being expelled from the body, which could result in symptoms such as diarrhea, vomiting, or nausea. As toxins are rapidly removed from the body you are taking away a food source for parasites. In a more toxic individual, there are generally more parasites present. This is because parasites are opportunistic, meaning that when the opportunity presents itself parasites go to work and start multiplying and thriving in your body. A toxic internal environment provides an opportunity for parasites along with other opportunistic bugs to set up shop and go to work doing whatever it is that they do. When the zeolite comes in and starts cleaning up that environment, parasites and other bugs start heading for the exits. This could result in diarrhea or vomiting for a day or two. It could also result in a number of other symptoms as the immune system attacks these bugs on the way out. Typical die-off reactions include itching, skin irritation, aches and pains, brain fog, anxiety, and fatigue among others.

Taking zeolite around a full moon is more likely to result in parasite cleansing and symptoms as parasites are more active at this time. If you suspect parasites are an issue for you it may be best to not start taking zeolite within a week of the full moon. It is not uncommon for someone to be taking zeolite and experiencing no symptoms and then once the full moon hits they suddenly experience symptoms. This is an indicator that there may be increased parasite activity in the body. Interestingly, individuals with high loads of parasites still seem to do better on a high dose of zeolite vs a low dose. A low dose often irritates the parasites and causes a number of undesirable symptoms while a high dose is often sufficient to cause them to be expelled from the body. In addition, a higher dose offers additional zeolite cages to help with parasite waste products that are produced as they are being attacked by the immune system.
